Dave Simmons, PE, joins DOWL’s Transportation Group
DOWL is excited to announce that Dave Simmons, PE, has joined the firm as a Transportation Planning Sub-Practice Area Leader and senior project manager in the Lake Oswego, Oregon, office.
Dave is a valuable addition to the team, bringing more than 30 years of experience with planning, engineering, project delivery, and leadership, which he will use to help guide the firm’s work within Oregon and the Pacific Northwest as a whole.
His previous work in the region includes complex and high-profile transportation projects, including the Beltline Highway/Delta Highway Interchange in Eugene, Oregon, and the Salem Willamette River EIS project that developed alternatives for a new crossing of the Willamette River between Salem and West Salem.
Dave is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and past president of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Oregon.
