Farr West becomes DOWL
Since the merger in July, DOWL and Farr West Engineering have developed closer ties and recognized the advantages for our individual firms, clients, and talented employees. We are excited to announce that as of January 1, Farr West Engineering is now officially known as DOWL.
While Farr West is changing its name, the same people you know and trust are still here to serve you. DOWL and Farr West share similar employee-owned business models, complementary skill sets, and mission and values that shape their quality- and integrity-driven cultures. Together, we will bring an expanded range of services and a deeper bench of expertise in a larger geographic area. The merger also creates additional career growth opportunities for our employees.
Our combined organization is 520 employees strong, with two offices in Nevada and 16 additional offices across Alaska, Arizona, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming. DOWL provides environmental and land development, water/water resources, transportation, civil engineering, bridge and marine, and geo-construction services. Farr West anticipates an active role for their survey, water resources, electrical engineering, utility planning, transportation, and specialized support services on DOWL’s upcoming projects.
