Alaska Testlab works closely with agencies like the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities to provide construction materials testing and inspection for a wide variety of projects throughout the state, including work on airports, highways, bridges and sand storage facilities.

Alaska Testlab (ATL) has provided construction materials engineering and testing services since the establishment of the firm in 1954.

ATL was the first private laboratory in Alaska to receive AASHTO accreditation. ATL also holds accreditations for soils, aggregates, Portland Cement Concrete, and bituminous concrete.

As an accredited laboratory, Alaska Testlab actively participates in the AASHTO Materials Reference Laboratory (AMRL) and Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory (CCRL) proficiency testing programs and on-site inspections.

Alaska Testlab also actively participates in and is inspected by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). We maintain our approval to provide laboratory testing on USACE projects.
