Transportation planning & engineering
DOWL's Transportation Planning and Engineering Department provides a full range of professional services for surface and air transportation projects. Our expertise extends from small trail design to large urban and rural highway projects to landside and airside airport terminal improvements, including runways, taxiways, aprons and hardstands. Our planning and engineering departments work together to develop realistic, high-quality planning documents and then transition seamlessly into the design and construction phases.

When I graduated from college, an engineer friend of mine advised me that I would have to change employers every few years in order to progress quickly and avoid being type-cast. This has absolutely not been the case at DOWL. Over the past 10 years, I have always felt that my contribution was appreciated, acknowledged, and rewarded.
