Materials testing & construction inspection
Alaska Testlab (ATL) provides construction materials testing and construction inspection from its headquarters in Anchorage, a permanent field office on Kodiak Island and from a fully equipped laboratory in Fairbanks. ATL provides field facilities in remote locations to meet project requirements. For example, as part of the National Ballistic Missile Defense System, ATL set up field laboratories at Ft. Greely in Interior Alaska and on Shemya in the Aleutian Islands. Trained technicians operated the facilities, which handled basic soil, asphalt, concrete testing and non-destructive testing of welds.
The fully accredited Alaska Testlab in Anchorage has long been recognized as the leading commercial materials and geotechnical laboratory in Alaska.
